Fernando was one of the invited artists to open the festival this year. He created a painting in situ as a response to one of the gardens in Abbotsbury. The event was attended by more than four hundred visitors and Fernando’s work received the prize for the public vote.
Also, as part of the Abbotsbury Art Festival, Fernando delivered a talk about contemporary art and his practise as an artist and the imposing medieval barn.
