Fernando’s most recent solo show was a pop up event in Cirencester. It took place over the last few days of May and was organised by the Garage Door Gallery.
Transvoid is a new departure in Fernando’s work, driven to paint from a raw desire to find the true essence of human condition. Painting is his resilience resource, something that sustains him, feeds his soul and brings equilibrium to life. In this series of works, ideas and themes of nature, introspection and nothingness have emerged from a deep unconsciousness. Paintings come to life and speak to their creator and audience alike.
The Garage Door Gallery aims to promote ‘pop-up’ events around the UK and Ireland, raising questions about the value of art and public perception. The gallery hopes to find a diverse broad audience, building confidence in the viewer whilst crossing social and cultural boundaries. We also believe in the power of physical works of art vs print and technology. Keep an eye for more exhibitions coming soon.
